How Did We Get Our Name?
The signature product of The Cottage Popcorn Shop, buttery caramel popcorn, was developed at a lakeside cottage on Bostwick Lake near Grand Rapids, Michigan.. The store's original owner started selling gift bags to local businesses after neighbors and friends continued to rave about the flavorful, fresh popcorn. Encouraged by the response of friends and clients, it was time to take the popcorn to the City. But the Cottage name and homemade recipe remained and became the foundation for a growing business.
